A new all-gay travel brand is promising to bring a more sex-positive and kink-friendly approach to LGBTQ+ holidays, with organisers positioning it as a fresh alternative within the growing queer travel market.

RU5H describes itself as an all-gay, all-male travel and lifestyle company focused on creating immersive experiences that combine nightlife, community, self-expression and kink-positive exploration.

The company plans to offer a programme of full-ship cruises, resort takeovers and pop-up events designed specifically for gay, bisexual and queer men seeking spaces where sexuality, connection and personal freedom can be explored without judgement.

Unlike many traditional LGBTQ+ holidays, RU5H places kink culture and sexual expression at the centre of its identity. The brand says it is built around five core pillars: sex, stimulation, seduction, submission and satisfaction, creating an environment where guests can engage with those themes at their own pace and according to their own interests.

Organisers stress that consent, choice and personal boundaries are fundamental to the experience, with travellers encouraged to curate their own journey rather than follow a prescribed programme.

"RU5H is where sexual freedom, adventurous travel, music, nightlife and connection meet," said co-founder and chief marketing officer Patrick Gunn.

The company says its events will blend the atmosphere of queer nightlife venues, fetish events and LGBTQ+ festivals with the comfort of a premium holiday experience.

Rather than focusing solely on parties, RU5H is aiming to create spaces where guests can socialise, build friendships, explore kink interests and connect with like-minded people from around the world.

Its inaugural cruise will transform an entire ship into what organisers describe as a floating queer festival, featuring pool parties, themed events, internationally recognised DJs and dedicated experience zones designed around different interests and communities.

The launch comes at a time when LGBTQ+ travel is becoming increasingly specialised, with many operators catering to specific communities and interests within the wider queer population.

Over the past decade, demand has grown for holidays centred around shared identities, from women-focused cruises and trans-inclusive retreats to leather gatherings, fetish weekends and sex-positive events. Industry observers have noted that many LGBTQ+ travellers are seeking experiences that go beyond traditional tourism and offer a stronger sense of community and belonging.

RU5H

RU5H's founders believe there is growing demand for travel experiences that embrace kink culture and sexual expression as part of wider LGBTQ+ identity rather than treating them as separate interests.

The company describes itself as "a lifestyle experience first and a cruise second", with an emphasis on creating environments where guests can feel comfortable expressing themselves openly.

Organisers also say affordability is a key part of the concept. Prices for the first voyage are set to start at $397 per person, which the company says makes it one of the more accessible all-gay cruise offerings currently available. A dedicated online community will also allow solo travellers to connect with potential cabin mates to help reduce costs.

For many LGBTQ+ travellers, particularly those involved in fetish, leather and kink communities, dedicated holidays have become an increasingly important way to socialise, build networks and celebrate aspects of queer culture that have historically existed on the margins.

RU5H is hoping to tap into that demand by creating experiences where nightlife, community, kink and adventure are treated as equally important parts of the holiday experience.

As the LGBTQ+ travel sector continues to evolve, the company believes there is room for a more explicitly kink-positive model, offering travellers the chance to explore sexuality, connection and self-expression in a space designed specifically with those values in mind.
