Socially Engaged Art Salon and the Ledward Centre seek Brighton & Hove-based LGBTQ+ creatives to lead paid workshops
Artists from under-represented sectors in the arts (such as BME (BPoC), artists with disabilities, artists from working class families) are encouraged to apply.
Socially Engaged Art Salon (SEAS) and the Ledward Centre are looking for Brighton & Hove-based LGBTQ+ creatives to lead paid workshops as part of its workshop programme in March.
Artists from under-represented sectors in the arts (such as BME (BPoC), artists with disabilities, artists from working class families) are encouraged to apply.
SEAS and the Ledward Centre anticipate that the programme will be funded by Arts Council England (ACE), with emphasis on ACE’s case for diversity, and Brighton & Hove Council.
Workshops will be for maximum 15 participants and last 1.5 hrs; the artists’ fees will be £150 per workshop, plus materials.
The outcome of the workshop will be showcased on the SEAS website and social media and possibly at SEAS’ gallery at the Ledward Centre.
