On Saturday, May 23, Peer Action held their 3rd annual Eurovision Fundraiser at the Camelford Arms in Brighton.

Peer Action

THE Camelford Arms kindly allowed Peer Action to use the pub and their friendly management team helped the charity set up and manage the night which was very busy and enjoyed by everyone present.

The evening raised £325 from a mixture of the sweepstakes, donations and raffle – and Peer Action would like to thank everyone who helped make the evening a success.

A spokesperson for Peer Action, said: “We are a very small charity and fundraisers like this really do make a difference. We would like to thank everyone who helped us raise the £325. This will help the charity in so many ways and enable us to continue running our events to combat the side effects and social isolation of those affected by HIV.”

The fundraising was assisted with help from:

Brighton Sauna, Day pass and £50 donation

Las Iguanas, Brighton, £50 voucher

Nice’n’Naughty, Brighton, £25 voucher

Prowler Brighton, £15 voucher

Colourstream Brighton, £10 Voucher

and of course The Camelford Arms for donating the use of the venue on a busy Saturday night.

Peer Action is a peer led HIV+ peer support and social group for people living with HIV.
