Erdem launches T-shirt in collab with Gay’s The Word bookshop to raise funds for LGBTQ+ charities
Fashion label Erdem has launched a special limited-edition unisex T-shirt featuring a striking carnation print, created in collaboration with Gay’s The Word—the UK’s first LGBTQ+ bookshop. All profits from the T-shirt will be donated to two vital LGBTQ+ charities: trans-led grassroots organisation, Not A Phase, and LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity, akt.
Erdem Moralıoğlu, founder and Creative Director of the London-based fashion house, shared: “I am honoured to partner with two incredibly important charities, Not A Phase and akt, to help communities who need our support now more than ever.”
The white T-shirt features a delicate print of light blue, pink, and white carnations—echoing the colours of the Trans Pride Flag—alongside a green carnation, a historic symbol of queer identity popularised by Oscar Wilde.
Described as being “in support of two charities close to the heart of the house,” the T-shirt is priced at £75and is available online at erdem.com, at Erdem’s flagship store on 70 South Audley Street, Mayfair, and at Gay’s The Word bookshop at 66 Marchmont Street, Bloomsbury.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
