Queer in Brighton, a heritage project celebrating Brighton’s unspoken LGBT histories, are looking for people to bring photographs and memorabilia to the Lesbian Lives Conference at The Sallis Benney Theatre in Brighton on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16.
The photographs will become part of a publication and online archive, which will also include stories of LGBT people who have ever lived, worked or visited the city.
If you would like to contribute, bring up to 10 photos or other memorabilia (postcards, flyers, album covers, badges), to be scanned by Queer in Brighton at the conference.
All materials will be returned on the same day.

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.
Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
