Enjoy an active Easter with one of the many sporting activities organised by the Council across the city this April.
The council’s Active for Life team is offering a range of events, from organised sports courses to Easter eggs hunts, during the school holidays. Activities for all ages to enjoy are available from 2 to 12 April.
Sport training on offer includes:
• Netball,
• Cricket,
• Skateboarding and
• Running courses.
Spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis. Many sessions are free although fees apply for some training options.
Families and young children can have an egg-citing time with Easter games, egg hunts and craft days.
The final event of the holiday programme is a Marafun day on Friday April 12, celebrating and anticipating the annual Brighton Marathon taking place on April 14.
Councillor Geoffrey Bowden, chair of Brighton & Hove’s economic development & culture committee, said:
“The Active for Life team has put together a great mix of activities for all ages and abilities. There is also plenty to do whatever the weather! The Easter programme is always popular so it’s a good idea to sign up as soon as possible.”

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
