King Alfred Public Meeting

Following the success of last months King Alfred public meeting, Mike Weatherley, the Conservative MP for Hove and Portslade, has thanked residents for sending him their views on the future of the King Alfred Leisure Centre and has announced announce that a video of the meeting is now available online.

Mike says he has received hundreds of suggestions with regard to the King Alfred. He is currently preparing a submission to submit to Brighton & Hove City Council with a summary of the meeting and to highlight the views of residents.

Mike said:

“It was encouraging that so many people took the trouble to get in touch and share their views on what a new leisure centre should focus upon. Thank you to everyone who contacted me. I am now pleased to announce that to all those who couldn’t make the meeting, it is now available to watch online. A link is available on my website.”
