Grindr's iconic ‘Bussy’ returns for Pride 2026
Grindr is set to roll out a series of Pride‑focused events across Europe in 2026, beginning with a major presence at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival before continuing to Pride celebrations in cities including Brighton, London, Amsterdam and Madrid.
The dating app’s “Grindr Rides Again” European tour will run throughout Pride season, aiming to create in‑person spaces for LGBTQ+ people to connect, celebrate and take part in community‑led experiences beyond the app. The tour marks Grindr’s third year running globally and its second across Europe.
Mighty Hoopla will host the opening stop of the tour, with festivalgoers invited to explore Grindr’s large‑scale activation, described as a real‑world version of its “Global Gayborhood”. Across the weekend, visitors can expect DJs, drag queen guest appearances, interactive games, merchandise and subscription giveaways.

A centrepiece of the activation will be the return of Grindr’s branded installation, alongside a professional photo booth offering high‑quality portraits designed for social sharing during Pride season. Organisers said the experience is intended to reflect the playful, celebratory spirit of Pride while offering a welcoming space for self‑expression.
Following Mighty Hoopla, Grindr’s Pride programme will continue at events and celebrations in London, Cannes, Amsterdam, Brighton and Madrid, aligning with Pride festivals across Europe and expanding opportunities for queer visibility and connection throughout the summer.
Mighty Hoopla, one of the UK’s most prominent pop and LGBTQ+‑friendly festivals, provides a high‑profile launchpad for the tour, which Grindr said is focused on supporting Pride events and celebrating LGBTQ+ culture across multiple cities.
Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.
Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
