Trans reality star and activist Ella Morgan to become 'first ever trans contestant' of SAS: Who Dares Wins
Ella Morgan is set to make television history as the first transgender celebrity to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, it has been reported.
The 32‑year‑old reality TV star, who rose to prominence as the first openly transgender bride on Married at First Sight UK in 2023, has reportedly signed up for the upcoming series of the Channel 4 programme, which puts celebrities through gruelling military‑style challenges.
Morgan’s participation will mark a milestone for the long‑running show, which has previously featured transgender participants in its civilian edition but not in its celebrity format. Filming for the next series is expected to take place later this year, with the programme due to air in 2027.
A source told The Sun that Morgan was keen to show a different side of herself on the notoriously punishing series. “Ella was a tough cookie long before finding fame,” the source said, adding that the show would reveal “a whole new side” to the glamorous TV personality.
Former special forces operatives Billy Billingham, Jason Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver are expected to return as directing staff, putting the celebrity recruits through a demanding selection process designed to test their physical and mental resilience.
Morgan has become a prominent advocate for transgender visibility and rights since her breakout appearance on Married at First Sight. She has spoken openly about the abuse faced by trans people and has used her public platform to challenge discrimination and promote greater understanding.
