The 28th British Film Institute (BFI), London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival (LLGFF) will present 11 days of the best queer cinema from around the world at the BFI Southbank, London from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 30.
The festival, which last year saw over 22,000 people enjoy over 130 programmes of screenings and events, will be dedicated to LGBT content in a packed programme including opening and closing night gala screenings, celebrations, sponsored galas, and a full supporting programme of special on-stage events, weekend late bars, DJs and more.New for this year will be a special fundraising event and a dedicated LLGFF channel on the BFI Player, the BFI’s new video on demand platform ensuring audiences all over the UK can enjoy the riches of the festival.Full details of the programme will be released at a public preview event on February 19 at BFI Southbank.For full details of the 2014 festival, CLICK HERE:Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.
