LGBTQ+ Supported Accommodation in Brighton is now welcoming residents!

Stonewall Housing has announced its new LGBTQ+ Supported Accommodation in Brighton is now welcoming residents.

The scheme provides safe, supportive and inclusive accommodation for LGBTQ+ people facing homelessness or escaping abusive environments.

Stonewall Housing says: “We aim to create a safe, affirming space where LGBTQ+ people can build confidence and independent living skills.”

The typical stay ranges from 12 to 18 months, and there is no age limit. There are six vacancies available, and the accommodation is close to transport and services. Residents can benefit from spaces, a garden and communal areas. They will receive 1:1 support, house meetings and planning.

Steven McIntyre, CEO of Stonewall Housing, said: “There has been a growing need for supported accommodation for LGBTQ+ people in the city for many years now, and I am delighted that we can now provide safe housing for those who need it most.”
