will be speaking in support of the motion ‘This house believes that porn is art’
at The Philosophical Society, Trinity College, Dublin today, Thursday, October 3 at 7.30pm.Jamie trained at Hartford Arts School, USA and now works from Brighton in many media including experimental photography. His work has been exhibited around the world including at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and he is Chairman and founder of The Sussex Artists Club.
Other speakers include Dennis Hof a professional pimp who owns five legal brothels in Nevada and legendary feminist and Guardian regular Julie Bindel.
A spokesperson for the Phil, said:
“With pornography becoming an increasingly pervasive aspect of modern society, we feel that is is high time we put forward this motion as one which challenges not only its nature, but its legitimacy and its status as a modern art form.”
The debate will be followed by a lavish sex-themed reception!
