Chris & Rupert's Big Birthday Bash to raise funds for Sussex Beacon tomorrow!
Brighton’s LGBTQ+ community is gearing up for one of its most anticipated annual events in the Gay Village as Chris Marshall, landlord of Charles Street Tap, and the Queen's Arms' Rupert, host a joint BIG BIRTHDAY BASH tomorrow, Sunday, 7 September, across two venues: Charles Street Tap and Queen's Arms.
For the very first time, the fundraising event, which will this year raise funds for Sussex Beacon, will be held over these two venues from 7pm with 12 fabulous drag acts and hosts Lola Lasagne and Sally Vate.

Organisers say: "Chris & Rupert’s BIG Birthday Bash is BACK — and this year, we’re sprinting heels-first between the Queens Arms & Charles Street Tap like the fabulous cabaret athletes we are.
"Sequins flying, wigs slipping, and the gay scene UNITED exactly how it should be - loud, proud, and working together to raise funds for the Sussex Beacon."
Guests are encouraged to bring their generosity along with their party spirit.
