Brighton & Hove City Council is inviting residents, businesses and visitors to share their views on this year’s Pride Street Party at a community feedback session next month.
The meeting will give people an opportunity to reflect on the event, discuss what worked well and suggest improvements for future celebrations.
Council officers are keen to hear from a wide range of people, including those who attended the Street Party, were involved in organising it, work in the area or were affected by the event.
The feedback session will take place on Monday 5 October from 5pm - 6.30pm at St Mary's Church Hall, 61 St James's Street, Brighton.
Organisers say the event is intended to help gather feedback from the local community and inform planning for future Pride-related events in the city.
The annual Pride Street Party, held in the heart of Kemptown during Brighton & Hove Pride weekend, attracts thousands of revellers each year and has long been a focal point of the city's LGBTQ+ celebrations. However, it also has a significant impact on local residents and businesses, making community feedback an important part of the review process.
Anyone with thoughts, experiences or suggestions relating to this year's Street Party is encouraged to attend and contribute to the discussion.
