# Brighton & Hove LGBTQ+ Switchboard gives thanks to Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents for helping give the charity’s client rooms a makeover

**Brighton & Hove LGBTQ+ Switchboard** has given thanks to **Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents**, a local gay-inclusive rugby team, for helping give the charity’s client rooms a much-needed makeover.

Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents said: “We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to our local community, thank you so much for having us.”

Switchboard also thanked **IRIS** (International Rainbow Inclusion Service) members, who helped with the room designs. IRIS is a free service for LGBTQ+ refugees, asylum seekers and migrants and those questioning their sexuality and/or gender identity.

Switchboard said: “Look how amazingly they turned out! We took a trauma-informed approach to decorating the rooms to ensure they’re welcoming, safe spaces for our clients.
