Barefoot Wine has partnered with LGBT Foundation to help support 50,000 LGBTQ+ people across the UK through a programme of community events, Pride outreach and digital campaigns.

The wine brand has been named the charity’s exclusive wine partner and will back a series of activities in cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Coventry and London. The initiative aims to connect LGBTQ+ communities, celebrate LGBTQ+ joy and share stories of hope throughout the year.

As part of the partnership, members of the public attending events this summer will be able to take part in free Barefoot merchandise giveaways and learn more about ways to support LGBTQ+ communities. LGBT Foundation guests will also be offered complimentary Barefoot Wine at a number of VIP events, including pre-Pride brunches in Liverpool and Manchester.

The collaboration will also support LGBT Foundation’s national Hope Starts Here campaign. A number of high-profile figures, including singer Seann Miley Moore, Married at First Sight star Leigh Harris and influencer Rhys Doing Things, will use their platforms to highlight how LGBTQ+ pride is expressed year-round through relationships, friendships and family life.

LGBT Foundation, one of the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing charities, says the partnership will help it continue reaching the 50,000 people it supports annually.

Sam Turner, Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager at LGBT Foundation, said: “The support of our good friends at Barefoot is instrumental in helping us reach the 50,000 LGBTQ+ people we support each year. This partnership ensures we can be there at the moments that matter most – whether someone is in crisis or supporting a loved one to come out.

“Barefoot continues to demonstrate a genuine, year-round commitment to community and inclusivity, enabling us to deliver real, lasting impact across the UK.”

A spokesperson for Barefoot Wine said the partnership reflects the company’s long-standing support for LGBTQ+ communities.

“At Barefoot, supporting LGBTQ+ communities has been at the heart of what we do for over 30 years,” the spokesperson said. “Our partnership with LGBT Foundation reflects that ongoing allyship – not just during Pride Month, but all year round.

“We’re proud to stand alongside LGBTQ+ people, helping create a world where everyone feels embraced, supported and celebrated for who they are.”

The partnership builds on Barefoot Wine’s backing of LGBT Foundation’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2025 and its Volunteer Awards in 2026, with both organisations highlighting a shared commitment to driving positive change for LGBTQ+ communities.

LGBT Foundation is encouraging people to get involved by donating, accessing support services or sharing messages of hope and inclusion to help the charity reach more people when they need it most.
