Subline’s 9th Birthday: Double-Ender Weekend

Subline, Brighton’s subterranean cruise bar, celebrates its 9th Birthday on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17.

The Double-Ender Weekend kicks off on Saturday from 10pm with one of Subline’s traditional birthday buffets and bountiful bottles of bubbly, entry £5.

Steven Lee, Subline’s owner, says: “I’ll be splashing the fizz around and letting you lot attack the food mountain from midnight, if Ian leaves any!”

On Sunday, head deep down for some late night cabaret (at Subline?! We Know!) with Mrs Moore entertaining the troops (on stage for once, not out back) from 10pm, entry £3.

Saturday and Sunday are all-male nights with no dress code – but as always, fetish clobber is positively encouraged.

Steven Lee, added: “I might just be repeating myself here, but WHAT THE ACTUAL FLIP?! NINE YEARS?! When I first opened the doors of Subline (wide-eyed, innocent and virginal) back in 2010, I never imagined I’d be here (gnarled, bitter and corrupt) almost a decade later! And on top of that – masochistic to the end – I now own the bloody place!

“Sarcasm aside; thanks to EVERYONE who has been on this journey with me. I’m glad (maybe even proud) to be properly in the driving seat now, and looking forward to many more years of fun, frolics, fundraising, fraternity, friendship, ‘family’ and other F words… Let’s make it a weekend to remember (hazily!).”
