The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Cllr Denise Cobb invited members of the Gay Elderley Men’s Society (GEMS), to the Mayors Parlour yesterday, March 19.

Brighton GEMS

Brighton GEMS is a social group for mature gay men. Their aims and objectives are to reduce isolation and provide a safe environment for members to meet and socialise. Brighton GEMS was formed to enrich the lives of all gay elderly men who reside in Brighton and Hove and always welcome new members.

The Mayor chatted with the members and joined them for a cup of tea, sandwiches and cakes before drawing the winners of a raffle for them.

Brighton GEMS has no religious affiliation and meet every last Friday of the month from 7pm-10pm at…1st Floor, Dorset Methodist Church Hall (off St James St), Dorset Gardens, Brighton BN3 1RL
