London’s Soho Theatre’s latest theatre, comedy and cabaret offerings

Brian Butler looks at the latest theatre, comedy and cabaret offerings at London’s Soho Theatre new spring season.
Soho Theatre always has tremendous variety to offer and its forthcoming staging of plays includes Hassan Abdulrazzak who has put together verbatim stories of imprisonments of foreign nationals in the USA in the powerful drama The Special Relationship ( 26 Feb to 21 March),

It’s followed by Run Sister Run, award-winning playwright Chloe Moss’s piece about sisters Connie and Ursula- connected by the same beginning but heading in different directions over 4 decades to the present day.
Comedy includes: Jena Friedman in Miscarriage of Justice ( 17-28 March) pictured above.
Jonny Pelham Edinburgh Fringe award winner ( 20/21 March)

LA-based stand up and actor Suzi Rufell in Dance Like Everyone’s Watching You ( 7-11 April) where she attempts to answer the question – are all stand-ups at their best when they are miserable ?
Cabaret includes:
Andre Spisto in Butch Princess (19/20 March) pictured above.
Sarah-Louise Young in An Evening Without Kate Bush (18 May-6 June)

Together Again Again ! – pairs Rupaul’s Drag Race star Jinx Monsoon with prodigy Major Scales – starting a tour with 2 weeks at Leicester Square Theatre, London from 7 April and including 30 April at the Theatre Royal Brighton.
