Community Works provides advice, support and representation for the Voluntary and Community Sector in Brighton & Hove.

Gary Pargeter, Voluntary and Community Sector Rep, said: “Community Works is a great resource and offers a range of support. It’s already helping many of our LGBT organisations in many ways, and really wants to get to know and support more. Part of our role as Reps is to help that happen, and we want to reach out to as many LGBT organisations as possible, especially our smaller grassroots ones. Please come along on the 27th and see what’s available and how we can help. We’d like to meet as many of you as possible and help everyone get to know each other.”
The conference on March 27 has a day of activities planned including an open lunch! For people who would just like to go along for lunch and to talk further, Gary and Chris will be available in a meeting room after lunch to have an informal chat.

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.
Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
