Brighton and Hove council are asking for people to attend a Zoom community meeting to continue the work to develop a Neighbourhood Action Plan for the St James Street area.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this work has been put on hold. The website which they were developing to support his has been changed into a Covid-19 community resource and this can be accessed here https://queensparkbrighton.net/
The council Community Engagement Team are working with ward councillors to help ensure that accurate and up to date information is available to everyone, and this week we will be circulating a Community Support newsletter across the St James St area and Queens Park ward.

Simon Bannister from the Community Engagement Team said,
‘We would like to invite you join with us for a St James Area community Zoom video meeting on Wednesday, where you can share your concerns and hear directly from ward councillors, council staff and others about actions taking place and planned.
An agenda will be circulated before the meeting – if you have anything you would like to add, please let us know’
If you would like to virtually attend this meeting please send an email to Simon asking for the Zoom link and password

Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism
Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical. Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
