Brighton Bear Weekender quiz at the Camelford Arm last night (Thursday, June 18), raises £341.37 for the Rainbow Fund.

The total included a £25 donation from the Camelford Arms who also provided a complimentary buffet to keep the bears well fed all night.

Buck Whizz, composed of David Ashman, Pier Breuwer and Allan Dover, were the winning team. They missed out on the regular £300 bonus cash prize but managed to win a box of 48 Curley Wurleys chocolate bars which they shared out with all the other teams.

The event was a curtain raiser for The Brighton Bear Weekender which starts tonight, Friday, June 19 with a reception and welcome party at the A-Bar on Marine Parade hosted by Mysterry.The quiz raised £341.37 for the Rainbow Fund to distribute through their September grants round.The Rainbow Fund make grants to LGBT/HIV organisations who provide effective front line services to LGBT people in Brighton and Hove.For more information about Brighton Bear Weekender, click here:
