Arts charity Outside In, which aims to provide a platform for artists who face significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation, is to run an Artist Support Day at Fabrica in Brighton on Tuesday, July 26 from 10am.
Outside In will be supporting artists to create a free online gallery of their work. Once artists have created their online gallery, they can get involved with all sorts of opportunities, including artist residencies and exhibitions.
Artists can sign up for a one-to-one hour-long session:
To take high-quality images of their artwork
For guidance on how to write an artist statement
To go through the step-by-step sign-up process for their online gallery
For support submitting work for exhibitions or any applications for Outside In opportunities, including the charity’s national exhibition on the theme of ‘humanity’, which will open at Sothebys in Mayfair in January 2023 and tour to Glasgow and Brighton.
