The UK’s LGBTQ+ museum Queer Britain has again partnered with wine brand Madame F for the third year of the Madame F Queer Britain Art Award, which this year has a theme to celebrate Queer Creativity, inspired by illustrator Justin Kemp, who designed the Susy the Frog image featured on the Madame F wine labels.
Entries should be 2D and can be illustrations, paintings, drawings and photographs that celebrate queer creativity. The winning artworks will also help support Queer Britain, by featuring on merchandise. Entries close midnight on 31 March 2024 and prizes of £1,500, £1,000 and £500 will awarded at a special summer reception at the museum in Granary Square.
Queer Britain said: “Our annual Art Award is back. For the third consecutive year, we are partnering with Madame F to hold an award that centres and celebrates queer artists and their work.”
