Peccadillo Pictures has announced Adam Kalderon‘s film THE SWIMMER will be released in selected cinemas on May 5 and on DVD and On Demand on May 16.
The film follows swimmer Erez, who finds himself thrust into an unforgiving world of sporting rivalry, battling against his peers for a place on the Olympic team. With his goal in sight, Erez is single-minded in his athletic ambition, that is until he meets handsome fellow swimmer Nevo.
THE SWIMMER made a big splash with audiences at this year’s BFI Flare LGBTQIA+ Festival. A thrilling blend of sports movie and love story infused with personal experiences, it’s fraught with heady drama and smouldering sexual tension – not to mention a healthy dose of men in speedos.
