Returning for a seventh year on 4 and 5 July, Worthing Pride is the town's biggest, most heartfelt fundraising event, celebrating the local LGBTQ+ community.
Organisers of Worthing Pride recently announced that BA Euroflyer - owned by British Airways - will sponsor the event alongside long-term headline partner Bennett Griffin Solicitors. This support will ensure the Pride Parade in Worthing is secured for at least the next two years and is free to enter.

Launching in 2018, Worthing Pride has quickly become one of the biggest local Pride events on the south coast. The event has gone from strength to strength, from community partnerships to providing some of the very best entertainment the town has seen. Over the years artists such as Blue, Five, Liberty X, House Gospel Choir, N Trance - and Drag Race UK stars Danny Beard, Cheryl Hole and Elektra Fence - have enable Worthing Pride to raise thousands of pounds for good causes in and around the town.
This year’s parade was thrown into doubt at the start of April when, despite the best efforts of organisers, the funds needed to cover the parade costs were missing due to lack of sponsorship and community uptake. Previously the cost of the parade has been offset by a sponsor and ticket sales for those participating in the walking parade.

The current financial challenges faced by local businesses, has seen a clear reduction in parade applications for 2025. BA Euroflyer have now stepped in and are proudly providing the funds to cover the full costs of the 2025 and 2026 parade event – this now means the organisers can now offer, free parade entry to community groups, organisations and alike for the first time in its history.
Gary Richardson, Worthing Pride Director, said: "Firstly, the local community business response to our GoFundMe and Community Angels project has been nothing short of outstanding! This has demonstrated that our local businesses fully support Pride and do not wish to see it leave our town.

"I am thrilled to be able to announce this fantastic partnership with Pride and BA Euroflyer the funding that has been raised by our local community will go hand in hand with the BA Euroflyer funding to ensure Pride in Worthing is here to stay. These funds will ensure for the next two years we can offer FREE entry into our fantastic parade. Showcasing that our amazing town and businesses stand by our LGBTQ+ community."

The last two years, the parade theme has been Protecting Trans Lives, and the same stands for 2025. Parade participants are encouraged to dress in blue, white and pink to show their support for trans and non-binary community members.
Karen Hilton, Managing Director, BA Euroflyer says: “We are proud to serve Sussex and play an active role in supporting local communities from our home at London Gatwick, and it’s important to us that all our customers and colleagues feel respected and included.
"Our commitment to inclusion continues all year round particularly through our Flying Proud colleague network, and Pride events are a vital part of this in raising awareness of issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community. We are thrilled to secure Worthing Pride’s future for the next two years and look forward to joining in with the celebrations this summer."
