Jane McDonald to headline Gay Icon Slot at Mighty Hoopla

It’s been announced gay icon Jane McDonald will headline the Gay Icon Slot at London’s Mighty Hoopla next summer making her first EVER festival performance.

One of the most requested artists to perform at the festival, Jane will make her Mighty Hoopla debut and cruise into Brockwell Park on Sunday, 31 May.

With her big band, big vocals and big surprises, Jane’s set promises to be a show for the ages and she can’t wait.

Making the announcement, Jane said: “Did somebody ask for a gay icon? Well, it’s me, I’m here darlings.

“Yes, I’m going to be at the Mighty Hoopla in the Icon slot. Big band, big vocals, in fact it’s going to be bloody lovely.”

Jane joins a line up which includes Scissor Sisters, Lily Allen, Jessie J, JLS, Alexandra Burke and Heather Small with more than 100 other acts still to be announced.
