Following a celebration of trans joy at Trans Pride Brighton, tens of thousands of people from the trans community and allies are expected to flood the streets of the capital this Saturday for London Trans+ Pride 2025. With the powerful theme Existence & Resistance, this year’s march stands as a bold response to increasing political hostility and legislative setbacks faced by the trans community.

Last year’s record-breaking turnout of over 60,000 marchers set the tone for what has become a vital annual moment of visibility, solidarity, and defiance. The 2025 event comes in the wake of the UK Supreme Court’s controversial ruling on the definition of “biological sex” under the Equality Act, a decision that has sparked widespread concern over the erosion of trans rights and access to single-sex services.
The march will begin at 1pm outside All Souls Church, Langham Place, proceeding down Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus, and culminating at Wellington Arch via Green Park, where speeches and performances will take place until 6.45pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring banners, flags, flowers, and wear comfortable shoes. Welfare officers and volunteer stewards will be on hand to ensure safety and support throughout the day.
This year’s theme, Existence & Resistance, reflects the urgent need to protect and uplift trans lives amid a climate of exclusion and misinformation.
Organisers emphasise that allyship from cisgender individuals is more crucial than ever. “Silence emboldens the systems that seek to marginalise trans lives,” said a spokesperson for London Trans+ Pride. “We need everyone to show up, speak out, and stand beside us.”
