Gary Clarke Company, the pioneering dance theatre company, is seeking people from the LGBTQ+ community to take part in a workshop to share experiences and memories around Section 28. This workshop, which will take place in Anita’s Room at Brighton Dome on Thursday, November 30 from 6pm, will inform the company’s next major work DETENTION, following the multi-award winning COAL and critically-acclaimed WASTELAND.

Laura Barber, Engagement Manager at Gary Clarke Company, said: “We are committed to making marginalised communities visible on professional stages, exploring their stories and lived experiences to create authentic work.

“The workshop will be an open, inclusive and supported space where participants will be led in a variety of supported group discussions, conversations and creative tasks around Section 28.”
