Traumfrau and FilmPride have teamed up for an “iconic” International Women’s Day (IWD) film screening and party at Ironworks Studios in Brighton on Saturday, March 11 from 7pm.
Traumfrau says: “Wanna celebrate women, the days getting longer, the clothes getting smaller, the energy returning to our bodies, nature blossoming, and being queer? Wanna have a party?”
The evening will begin with a screening of short films, made by Traumfrau and a selection of international films curated by FilmPride. The screening will be followed by Traumfrau’s IWD Party.
Traumfrau adds: “This is an incredible exciting event – you can come to the film night, or come to the party, or come to both. Just make up your mind.”
Film Screening
From 7pm, watch IWD films made by the community. There is still time to submit your video. Home made tapes and homo made tapes to the front. From 8pm, enjoy a selection of films with a focus on female-identifying filmmakers and stories, brought by FilmPride
Party
From 9pm it’s Traumfrau’s annual IWD celebration with DJs – including Wildblood and Queenie – live performances, art and play over three floors. For full line-up and tickets, CLICK HERE
