Trans Lives Matter candle to raise funds for Mermaids

LGBTQ+ candle company Flaming Crap has launched a new Trans Lives Matter candle to commemorate Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20, with 50% of all profits donated to Mermaids charity, which has been supporting trans and gender-diverse children, young people, and their families since 1995.

The candle, which is ethically, environmentally and vegan friendly, has a sweet candy fragrance and is made using vegan kerasoy wax, recycled labels and biodegradable packaging,

Oliver Burr, Co-Founder of Flaming Crap, said: “Marking Transgender Day of Remembrance has always been important to us as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

“2020 has put a stop to many fundraising events, so by partnering with Mermaids we hope to give back to our community and invite people to remember those of the trans community we have lost, especially during this pandemic.”

The limited edition candle is available for £12.99 from Flaming Crap alongside other anti-establishment, topical and pop culture merchandise. To purchase click here.
