Europe’s biggest shopping centre, Westfield London in Stratford, invites you to experience Trans Is Human, an inspiring and thought-provoking photography exhibition honouring Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31.
Running till April 2, this event showcases the richness and diversity of trans lives through powerful imagery and compelling personal stories.
Created and produced by acclaimed actor and filmmaker Jake Graf and co-produced by award-winning campaigner Hannah Graf MBE, Trans Is Human offers an intimate and authentic portrayal of individuals within the trans community. Captured by world-renowned photographer Mariano Vivanco, the exhibition shines a light on personal journeys, achievements, and the strength of living authentically.
Visitors will encounter remarkable stories that challenge stereotypes and celebrate resilience. From Sarah, who overcame sight loss to support LGBTQ+ people with disabilities while running marathons, to Amanda, a refugee and the first Miss Trans Global Uganda, and Leo, a speaker and life coach with Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy who empowers others—each narrative highlights the profound impact of visibility and representation.
The exhibition is free to attend.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
