THT announces Understanding Stigma and Building Confidence and Resilience workshops
These workshops are open to anyone living with HIV and resident anywhere within the UK and Northern Ireland
This month, sexual health/HIV charity Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) is running free and confidential online living well group to help people living with HIV build confidence to tackle stigma – whatever stigma means to them.
Whether you’ve been living with HIV for a number of years, or are more recently diagnosed, over the course of three sessions, you’ll build a toolkit to understand and address HIV stigma, build your confidence and self-esteem, and build resilience for the future. These workshops are open to anyone living with HIV and resident anywhere within the UK and Northern Ireland.
The sessions, which will be hosted on Zoom, will run for three consecutive Wednesdays from Wednesday, September 15 starting at 6pm and will last up to two hours each. THT would encourage you to attend all three sessions to get the most out of workshops.

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical. Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
