Three of Kemptown’s LGBTQ+ bars launch Postcode Pride!

Three of Kemptown’s LGBTQ+ venues – Le Village Brighton, the Marine Tavern and Legends Brighton – have banded together to plan an event they are calling Postcode Pride, which will take place from Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6.Tyler Bowring from Le Village in St James’s Street said: ‘Postcode Pride is a local event to help raise money for our charities hosted by many of our amazing local venues! It is a weekend to see great performers, DJs and scene personalities.’Wristbands will be available from Monday, August 31 from Le Village, 2-3 High St, Kemptown, BN2 1RP with a suggested £2 donation for the Brighton Rainbow Fund, which distributes funds as grants to local LGBTQ+ and HIV projects.The wristbands will provide added benefits and goodies, which will vary from venue to venue. Follow your favourite venues’ social media to see what they are offering, and bring proof of address that you are from the local area.
