The Survivors’ Network announce Self-Compassion Group

Join the Survivors’ Network, which supports people who have experienced sexual violence and abuse, for a seven-week online group, from 7.30-9pm on Thursday evenings, beginning February 11.In this group you will explore what self-compassion is. Topics covered will include self-criticism, mindful compassion and regulating emotions, alongside using creative arts activities to build new skills for increasing self-compassion and being kind to yourself. The group is led by Survivors’ Network group facilitators and is open to anyone on the counselling waiting list who identifies as a woman or non-binary.If you are interested in learning more, email groupwork@survivorsnetwork.org.uk by Friday, January 22.

Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.

Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
