The Ledward Centre to launch Meet-Up event for Brighton & Hove’s LGBTQ+ groups, projects and organisations
The Ledward Centre is organising and facilitating a monthly informal Meet-Up event for anybody involved in any group, project or organisation which provides support or services specifically to members of the LGBTQ+ communities in Brighton & Hove.

The event, which launches at the Ledward Centre on Friday, October 20 from 5 – 7pm, is opportunity to meet others involved in the sector, from projects big and small.

Chris Gull, director of the Ledward Centre, said: Please have a look at the details with the link below, and join the group. You will need to register with MeetUp.com for free if you are not already a member. It’s a quick and simple procedure.

“If you are a part of an organisation offering services via several projects please consider representations from within each of those projects, these events will be an excellent way to spread awareness with those who may want to refer to your projects, as well as learning what services are available to refer your service users to.”

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.

Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
