This September at Queer Britain, the UK’s LGBTQ+ museum, join Lake Faith (founder of Bi Survivors Network) and Vaneet Mehta (author of Bisexual Men Exist) as they explore the importance of Bi+ activism with Ourania Vamvaka-Tatsi (co-chair of Glitter Cyrmu) and Felix Fanafron Fern (co-founder of Trans Activism UK). Discover how intersectional activism furthers the Bi+ movement and how you can get involved.
At the event, the panellists will discuss their activism and how it furthers the Bi+ movement, and the importance of intersectionality in activism. They will also talk about their pieces in the newly published, It Ain’t Over Til The Bisexual Speaks, a Bi+ anthology edited by Vaneet and Lake (listed as Lois Shearing).
Organisers say: “The landscape of Bi+ Activism is a rich tapestry. Bi+ people exist in every space (even when you don’t know it) and are fighting on so many grounds.”
The Landscape of Bi+ Activism at Queer Britain, 2 Granary Square, Kings Cross, London N1C 4BH on Saturday, September 14 from 2pm.
