‘The Identity Project – Paris Edition’ comes to the UK for the first time for LGBT+ History Month

The Identity Project – Paris Edition, a striking photographic exhibition celebrating LGBTQ+ identities, is on display in the UK for the first time this February at Hove Hands and online at Proud Studios. The exhibition, created by Proud Studios CIC and award-winning photographer Chris Jepson, offers an intimate and powerful exploration of queer identity, resilience, and community, marking a significant addition to LGBT+ History Month events.

Following its 2022 success in Paris at Espace Canopy, The Identity Project – Paris Edition features a series of compelling portraits that highlight the diverse experiences of Parisian LGBTQ+ residents. Through a blend of personal testimony and striking photography, the project challenges societal perceptions and fosters a deeper understanding of the complexities of identity.

Hove Hands has an inclusive approach to wellness and massage therapy, and will host the exhibition in its studio space, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with the artwork in a setting that promotes self-care and community connection. In addition, the full exhibition is accessible online, ensuring wider visibility and participation.
