Sweden has unveiled its first official Drag Queen Calendar, a vibrant celebration of artistry and individuality featuring 12 of the country’s most iconic performers. Styled by Peter Englund and photographed by Anna Vinterfall, the calendar spans all 12 months of 2026 and was launched under the direction of Nina Saving at Konstexpo.

The release was spotlighted on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon on Sunday, where Vanity Vain - who graces the cover - appeared to discuss the project. Known for her rock’n’roll aesthetic and magnetic stage presence, Vanity Vain rose to fame on Drag Race Sverige, finishing third and later earning the title “Drag of the Year” at the QX Gala. She has since appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars, gaining international acclaim.

“This is an explosion of colour, expression and individuality - an art project where drag is given the space it deserves,” said project manager Nina Saving. Englund created 12 bespoke styling concepts, giving the calendar its distinctive visual identity.

Printed in A3 format on premium satin paper, the calendar is priced at £33 and is available via Imaginzone. Ten per cent of profits will be donated to The Rainbow Foundation, which advocates for LGBTQ+ rights.

“When you buy a Drag Queen Calendar, you not only get the most beautiful calendar of the year - you also support The Rainbow Foundation’s work for LGBTQ+ rights,” said Embla Kullberg, the foundation’s Secretary General. “As anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda grows worldwide, it’s more important than ever to stand together. This calendar is a fantastic initiative - and the perfect Christmas gift.”

For fans seeking something extra special, signed and numbered fine art prints of each featured performer are available through Imaginzone.com and QX Shop. Printed on exclusive cotton paper with a shimmering finish and exceptional colour reproduction, these limited-edition pieces are designed to last over a century, making them highly collectible.

The calendar features some of Sweden’s most celebrated drag artists, including Admira, Almighty Aphrodiey, Babsan, Bebulah, Brenda Mandlar, Eris Arcana, Fontana, Lena BH, Miss Petersson, Miss Tobi, Vanity Vain, and the trio from Bland Drakar och Dragqueens.
