Sussex Cricket will be hosting a Pride Inclusivity Match and Sixes Cricket Taster Event at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove on Saturday, 5 July, which will celebrate “diversity and inclusion through the power of sport”.

The aim of the event is to connect with as many people from the LGBTQ+ community across Sussex as possible, giving everyone the chance to discover the potential of cricket in their lives - whether for sport, fitness, friendship, socialising or just fun.

Before the main matches, Sussex Cricket is running a FREE cricket taster session - perfect for all ages and abilities - in its brand-new Sixes Bar at 1pmRSVP HERE.

If you can’t make it there will be lots more LGBTQ+ cricket coming up – more info HERE.

You’ll also get to meet the team from BLAGSS (Brighton LGBTQ+ Sports Society) and find out about other inclusive sporting opportunities across the area.

After your taster session, you’re invited to enjoy a thrilling T20 double-header, with Sussex Sharks Women playing at 3pm, followed by the Men at 7pm

Sussex Cricket said: “Join us for a celebration of cricket, community, and pride. This is a fantastic day out and a powerful way to show that cricket is a game for everyone.”
