One of the UK’s most iconic girl groups has done it again!
Today, Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Siobhán Donaghy dropped their third single produced by hitmakers Jon Shave (yes, the genius behind Jungle and Weeds and Charli XCX's Grammy winning BRAT album) and Anya Jones (Lola Young, Purple Disco Machine and Kylie), it’s a full-blown summer party anthem. The girls always deliver but they went hard with this one.
Driven by a pulsing bassline, infectious bounce, and ever-expanding synths, Shook is an ode to instant chemistry on a flirtatious night out-knowing exactly what you want and when you’re going to get it.
Signature Sugababes harmonies shine through the hook-laden melody on the song oh, and the official music video just dropped too.🫨
We’re so excited to share Shook! Our third single with Jon Shave and Anya Jones. From the moment we started writing and then putting the harmonies together, we knew it had to be a single. It has an unmistakable Sugababes chemistry, somewhat instinctive once you lock in creatively in the studio - it just felt right. Shook is our summer party banger!
Since reuniting in 2019, the sacred three have reestablished their legacy as one of the genre’s most influential and enduring vocal groups.
Renowned for their flawless harmonies and fearless fusion of alt-pop and R&B, they’ve continued to push creative boundaries and defy expectations.
Since their triumphant return, they’ve casually shut down Glastonbury twice due to overwhelming demand, sold out their biggest-ever arena tour, and wowed record-breaking festival crowds across Europe-as you do!
With a summer packed full of shows including a stop at Brighton Pride and three fresh singles already out, it’s official: the new Sugababes era is officially HERE. And honestly? This isn’t just a comeback-this is the sound they were always meant to make. Confident, cool, and completely iconic. The Sugababes have never sounded more like....the Sugababes.
