Jonathan Bailey has transformed a viral fashion moment into a charitable initiative. The openly gay British actor has partnered with London-based eyewear brand Cubitts to launch a limited-edition pair of sunglasses called Loomis, inspired by the now-iconic frames he wore during the Jurassic World: Rebirth press tour.

Fans affectionately dubbed the delicate specs his “slutty little glasses,” and rather than shy away from the buzz, Bailey embraced it with flair and purpose. Best known for his roles in Bridgerton and Fellow Travelers, Bailey is using the spotlight to support The Shameless Fund, the LGBTQ+ charity he founded in 2024.

“I’ve worn Cubitts for nearly a decade - they’re a powerhouse brand with serious style, headed by a super cool team. It was a no-brainer for Dr. Henry Loomis to wear them,” Bailey said, referencing his character in the Jurassic World reboot.

Now available for preorder on Cubitts’ website, the Loomis sunglasses are as bold as their origin story. Made from sleek stainless steel with fine metal detailing, black acetate temple tips, and soft pink lenses personally approved by Bailey, the frames blend minimalist elegance with a playful edge. Priced at £150, each pair comes with a pink-lined case and a cleaning cloth illustrated by Bailey himself -available separately for collectors.

For the first 3,000 units sold, 50% of proceeds will go to The Shameless Fund. After that, the contribution increases to 75% per unit, supporting the charity’s work in empowering LGBTQ+ individuals to live boldly and unapologetically.

“These are glasses that make everyone look sexy, feel sexy, and see the world as a sexier place,” Bailey said. “Right now, we could all use a rose-tinted perspective. Go wild!”

This marks The Shameless Fund’s first official partnership of 2025 and sets the tone for what Bailey calls a year of “joyful activism”. The charity, launched following a series of Bailey’s career milestones, supports queer voices through grants, mentorship, and community-driven projects focused on identity, visibility, and creative expression.

Preorders are open now at cubitts.com.
