Sir Ian McKellen, made an appearance at gay club Roast, just months after suffering a fall from the stage during the play Henry IV.

Sir Ian posed for a photograph with two topless men at the gay club, which is  marketed as ‘London’s beefiest club’.

An attendee said: “Everyone was gob smacked when they spotted him on the dance floor.

“Sir Ian was having such a good time soaking up the party atmosphere. He looked like he didn’t have a care in the world.”

He further stated: “You would never have guessed that he was in hospital just a few months ago.”

Known for his long-standing advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights, Sir Ian has never shied away from supporting the community.

He came out as gay in 1988 at the age of 49, a decision he has described as life-changing. In interviews, the actor has often stated that coming out transformed both his personal and professional life, allowing him to take on roles with a deeper sense of authenticity.
