Sam Parrott (Labour) has been elected as councillor for Westbourne & Poets’ Corner following a by-election on Thursday, 1 May 2025.

The by-election was called following the resignation of Leslie Pumm.

Gary Farmer, Reform UK – 258 votes

Keith William Donald Jago – 7 votes

David Maples, Independent Trade Union and Socialist Candidate – 91 votes

Georgia Arabella McKinley Fitch, Independents for Direct Democracy – 93 votes

Tony Meadows, Conservative Party – 129 votes

Sam Parrott, Labour Party – 894 votes

Geoff Shanks, Green Party – 685 votes

Michael Wang, Liberal Democrats – 598 votes

The turnout in the Westbourne & Poets’ Corner by-election was 36.95%.
