Rose Garden and DRAGBUS to raise funds for Lunch Positive in Brighton on World AIDS Day
Brighton-based DRAGBUS has announced a special event taking place on World AIDS Day (Monday, 1 December) in aid of Lunch Positive.
Lunch Positive is the chosen charity of DRAGBUS and this year they’ve arranged a special fundraising bus hosted by Rose Garden, which takes place directly before the candlelit vigil in New Steine Gardens.
Tickets are only £29, which includes two drinks (beer, prosecco or soft drink).

Every penny raised will go directly to Lunch Positive, who provide peer-led support and drop-in groups, wellbeing projects and community lunches for anyone living with HIV in Brighton, Eastbourne, Worthing and beyond.
DRAGBUS, Rose Garden and Brighton Regency Routemaster have all waived their fees so that the entire face value of your ticket goes directly to Lunch Positive.

Kevin Coyle from DRAGBUS said “This will be a very different DRAGBUS from the normal party experience and will be one where Rose performs a playlist focussed on remembering those we lost but also celebrating how far we’ve come with effective treatment and prevention medication. It also gives us the opportunity to show our determination to fight and end the stigma of HIV.”
The DRAGBUS departs from the bus stop at Sea Life on Marine Parade at 4.45pm and tours Brighton & Hove before finishing at New Steine Gardens at 5.45pm, in time for the candlelit vigil at 6pm.
