Drag icons Alfie Ordinary, Alex Fincher and Billie Gold have dug deep into the history books and listened to all the juicy gossip, to create a walking tour of the places and spaces that make up the beating heart of queer Brighton & Hove.

Revealing St James’s Street is a project about bringing the queer history that’s steeped into the very bricks of the venues and business back to life through the voices of the community.

This vibrant archival project has collected the stories of residents, venue owners, punters and performers and weaved them into a brand new walking tour of the area. From iconic queer club nights, historical gay venues to downright outrageous stories, stand in a spot, scan a code and take a journey through the history of this community.

From Queer Heritage South comes a project about an iconic area and its vibrant queer community to listen to for years to come.

The walks are guided by one of the performers. Six performances from Saturday May 3 to Sunday, May 4. All the tours will finish at the Queen’s Arms, with a show from Alex Fincher, Alfie Ordinary and Billie Gold!
