Pride in Coalville: Leicestershire town to celebrate first-ever Pride with RuPaul's Drag Race star Vicki Vivacious

A small town in Leicestershire is gearing up to celebrate its first-ever Pride event, which will take place at the town's football stadium this weekend.

Pride in Coalville, Coalville's first and only fully inclusive, family-friendly LGBTQ+ celebration, will see Coalville Town Football Club transformed into a community hub where visitors can enjoy live performances, drag acts, food, music and activities for all ages.

The day will feature headliner Vicki Vivacious, known for her appearance on season five of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, alongside other entertainment and community stalls.

Keiran Lee-Ridgway, lead organiser of Pride in Coalville, said: "It's about bringing people together and breathing life back into a town that has often been overlooked. Pride in Coalville is about visibility, yes — but it's also about hope, change, and showing what's possible when people come together with purpose."
