New gays on the block, The Social Gays, will be hosting ‘Our First Mixer’ at R-Bar in Brighton on 28 July.
The event promises to be a relaxed and welcoming evening for gay men to connect, chat, and build genuine community. They say: “Whether you’re new to the area or just looking to expand your circle, this is your space.
“This isn’t a dating event, and it’s not about cliques. It’s about making meaningful connections with other gay men in a friendly, social environment.
“R-Bar will be serving up delicious drinks all evening — including non-alcoholic options — so whether you’re sipping or sober, you’ll feel right at home.
“We’ll help get the conversation flowing with name tags and light icebreakers — no cringe, we promise!
“Come solo, with a mate, or bring your boyfriend - everyone’s welcome. Just be ready to smile, say hey, and maybe meet your new favourite people.”
Entry is £5, which cover small costs and help organisers build more events in the future.
