Maxxie LaWow: Drag Super-Shero, a vibrant, high-energy animated comedy that celebrates queer joy, drag culture, and the power of self-expression, is to be released on digital platforms.

The film features a star-studded voice cast including Grant Hodges, Erika Ishii, Terren Wooten Clarke, Laraine Newman, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Michael-Leon Wooley, Michelle C. Bonilla, and drag icons Jinkx Monsoon, BenDeLaCreme and Monét X Change.

Directed and produced by Anthony Hand, Maxxie LaWow: Drag Super-Shero follows shy barista Simon, who discovers a magical pink wig that transforms him into Maxxie LaWow, a fierce drag super-shero.

When evil villainess Dyna Bolical begins kidnapping drag queens to steal their youth-preserving tears, Maxxie and best friend Jae embark on a fabulous, high-stakes rescue mission that climaxes in a glitter-drenched, high-flying lip sync battle for the ages.
