Mawaan Rizwan to headline Loving Men+ fundraiser, 'Love Glitter Gala', next month
BAFTA-winning comedian Mawaan Rizwan will headline the Love Glitter Gala at art’otel London Hoxton on Friday, 6 February, as the Shoreditch hotel prepares to host a sparkling night of performance in aid of Loving Men+, which exists to support gay, bi, queer cis and trans men and gender non-binary people to form satisfying intimate relationships.
The event, raising funds for the Loving Men⁺ Inclusivity & Diversity Fund, aims to generate more than £10,000 to support LGBTQ⁺ individuals in accessing essential community and wellbeing programmes. Set within one of London’s most creatively charged hotels, the Gala promises an evening rich in entertainment, dining and high-energy glamour - with Rizwan leading the bill.

Rizwan, whose sharp wit and on-screen charisma have made him one of Britain’s most distinctive comedic talents, will be joined by drag performer Queenie and hosts Arkem & Vincent. Together, they are set to deliver a vibrant programme that reflects the Gala’s spirit of joy, inclusion and community connection.

Guests will also enjoy art’otel London Hoxton’s signature mix of cultural flair and premium hospitality. The celebrations will continue into the early hours with an exuberant after-party from 10pm, featuring DJ-led sets across the hotel’s immersive, art-filled spaces.

Christian Masters, General Manager of art’otel London Hoxton, said the event aligns naturally with the hotel’s values. “art’otel London Hoxton is built around creativity, connection and community, so hosting the Love Glitter Gala is a natural extension of our commitment to celebrating diversity and supporting organisations that make a difference in people’s lives.”
Loving Men⁺ Co-Founder Tim Foskett highlighted the importance of the funds raised. “We are delighted to be hosting our Gala night in such a beautiful and iconic space. Loving Men+ has been providing much-needed opportunities for cis and trans gay and bi men, and non-binary people, to come together and explore intimacy, connection and community for over 20 years. We know we have made a real difference in tackling the isolation many in the GBTQNB+ community experience - and with the help of the funds we raise at the Gala, we know we can go even further.”
